You may submit up to five proposals. Submit a separate form for each proposed session.

No. All proposals must be completed through the official online form. Proposals sent by email or submitted in another format will not be reviewed.

Yes. Identify the proposed moderator and all known panelists in the proposal. The submitter or moderator will serve as the primary contact and will be responsible for coordinating panel preparation and required materials.

Presenter changes require prior written approval from Heartland Conference. Do not list a presenter who has not agreed to participate.

Yes. Proposals are evaluated based on the quality and relevance of the proposed education, the qualifications of the speaker, and overall program fit. First-time Heartland speakers are encouraged to apply.

Yes. Vendors, suppliers, consultants, and other industry professionals may submit proposals. Sessions must meet the same educational, disclosure, and non-commercial requirements as all other proposals.

No. Educational sessions may not be used as sales presentations, product demonstrations, or lead-generation opportunities. Relevant products or services may be discussed only when necessary to the educational content and presented in a balanced, non-promotional manner.

No. Speakers may not collect attendee information, scan badges, use session-related lead-capture tools, require information to access resources, or request attendee lists because of their speaking role.

Heartland Conference provides each room with a conference laptop loaded with your presentation, a projector and screen, clicker, handheld and lavalier microphones. Any additional request must be identified in the proposal and is subject to approval and availability.

Contact Heartland Conference at HeartlandEducation@vgm.com as soon as possible. Do not appoint a replacement directly. Any substitute or presenter change must be approved by Heartland Conference.

Selection notifications will be sent to the primary submitter by January 1, 2027.
