Michael G. Silverman, Esq., CDME is a founding partner of Silverman Bain, LLP, where he focuses his practice on healthcare and business law, advising healthcare providers, entrepreneurs, and companies on the full lifecycle of their operations—from startup formation to growth, compliance, and strategic transactions.
Mr. Silverman represents a diverse client base that includes durable medical equipment prosthetics, orthotics and supplies (DMEPOS) companies, pharmacies, medical spas, physicians, allied healthcare professionals, healthcare marketers, and general business owners. His work encompasses regulatory compliance, including federal and state healthcare laws such as the Anti-Kickback Statute, as well as transactional and operational matters such as partnership agreements, corporate structuring, audits and appeals, and government investigations involving agencies such as Medicare, the Department of Justice, the DEA, and the Department of Labor.
Drawing on both legal and industry experience, Mr. Silverman brings a practical, business-oriented perspective to his clients. Prior to co-founding Silverman Bain, he served as in-house counsel to one of the nation’s largest DMEPOS and pharmacy providers, giving him firsthand insight into the operational and regulatory challenges facing healthcare businesses. He is also a Certified Durable Medical Equipment Specialist (CDME), further strengthening his ability to advise clients in highly regulated healthcare sectors.
Mr. Silverman earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law and his Bachelor’s degree from Florida State University. He has been admitted to practice law in Florida since 2013 and is a member in good standing with The Florida Bar.
A recognized thought leader in healthcare compliance and business strategy, Mr. Silverman frequently lectures at industry conferences and trade events nationwide, where he provides practical guidance on regulatory developments and operational best practices.
