Julie Piriano, PT, ATP/SMS, is the Senior Director of Payer Relations & Regulatory Affairs for the National Coalition for Assistive & Rehab Technology (NCART). With a career spanning 40 years in the complex rehab technology industry, she has held various leadership roles, including VP of Clinical Education and Compliance Officer for Pride Mobility Products and Quantum Rehab. Piriano is a national and international speaker and educator, focusing on seating evaluation, documentation, and clinical applications of CRT equipment. She is a board member for the Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA) and serves on multiple industry boards and committees. Her dedication to improving access to products and services in the complex rehab industry is evident in her new role at NCART, where she aims to ensure that all payers and insurers follow policy and cover required equipment and services.
