Description
Power assist systems have advanced significantly in recent years. These technologies are often used to enhance the functionality of a manual wheelchair or serve as an alternative to a power wheelchair. This course explores rear, main, and front-wheel motor options for power assist. We will review clinical indications, objective measures for technology selection, and funding criteria for reimbursement.
