Speaker Bio
Chris Moore, CAPS, CEAC, CGR, ECHM, SHSS is a nationally recognized aging-in-place educator, remodeling professional, and advocate for changing the way we think about aging, disability, and the home. With more than 40 years of construction experience, Chris brings a builder’s practical perspective to the rapidly evolving home access industry, helping professionals see beyond individual products and modifications to the larger relationship between people, their abilities, and the environments in which they live.
For more than a decade, Chris has taught the Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) curriculum, helping equip builders, remodelers, designers, occupational therapists, and other professionals to better serve a changing population. He is also the founder of Senior Remodeling Experts and the author of Age Out Loud, a book challenging the deeply ingrained cultural assumption that aging must mean decline, dependency, and diminished possibility.
At the heart of Chris’s work is a simple conviction: we need to change the paradigm of aging. He believes our homes, our industries, and our communities should be designed around human potential rather than anticipated decline. His work connects construction, accessibility, longevity, and mindset to help create homes that support independence, vitality, dignity, and meaningful living throughout the entire course of life.
