Making the Most of Competitive Bidding
Description
In late November 2025, CMS released the Final Rule, that announced the upcoming Competitive Bidding Program and the timeline for rollout. In this session, we will explain the details of the program, what suppliers will need to know to properly form their bids, and also discuss other options for smaller suppliers that want to still be "in the game".
Proposed Learning Objective (1)
Identify the key product categories included in the upcoming Competitive Bidding Program (CBP) and explain why inclusion matters for supplier strategy.
Proposed Learning Objective (2)
Outline the Competitive Bidding timeline and identify at least two critical deadlines or decision points suppliers must meet to participate effectively.
Proposed Learning Objective (3)
Determine if you qualify as a subcontractor or network supplier
Proposed Learning Objective (4)
Evaluate additional strategic considerations for participation by identifying at least two factors that influence whether and how a supplier should engage in the program.
