Name
From the Locker Room to the Board Room. Leadership built on Teamwork
Description

Great organizations are built around great people. In today's business climate, how do we continue to develop leaders within our Teams and Organizations. The ability of current and future Leaders to connect has become a top-priority and is proven to drive consistent results. How teams recruit, retain and cultivate talent is paramount to the short-term, but more importantly the long-term success of the team. This topic is for anyone who is part of a team. No matter what the position.

Proposed Learning Objective (1)
Compare and contrast transformational and transactional leadership styles by identifying at least two strengths and weaknesses of each and determining one strategy to improve effectiveness both individually and within a team context.
Proposed Learning Objective (2)
Complete a leadership self-assessment, interpret the results, and identify one specific leadership skill they will strengthen to improve how they lead others.
Proposed Learning Objective (3)
Demonstrate motivational leadership by identifying two practices to build authentic work relationships and planning one feedback conversation using a consistent feedback approach.
