Dr. Tapia is a Board-Certified physician with specialty training in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. She has a passion for educating others on how the environment can help us age-in-place and achieve our highest levels of independent functioning. She practiced these principles in real life, designing an attached apartment for her grandmother who lived with her family from age 82 to 90. She is also the host of a podcast with over 100 episodes, “Real Conversations about Aging Parents”.
