Power standing mobility has no doubt been at the forefront of discussions within the CRT industry. What started as a glimmer of hope during the pandemic has left us still struggling with acceptance of this important power seat function. There is no doubt that the evidence is pointing towards the medical and functional benefits of standing so what is the hold up? Besides national acceptance of power standing mobility what additional barriers are we seeing at the local level. In this course we will discuss the barriers presented and options for overcoming these hurdles in the promotion of this vital power seat function. Understanding current trends in clinical usage, newly released evidence, and ongoing legislative moves we will investigate standing to determine just how we on a local level can affect change.
